Volume lashes are creating “fans” out of the lash extensions (between 2-10 lashes each fan and attached to each natural lash). This is how we can adjust the look from natural to dramatic. For example 3D referring to 3 lashes in the fan. Usually a thinner lash thickness is chosen, between 0.5-0.7 mm. This is what allows us to create a different results and also not being restricted by the amount of natural lashes the client has.

The half way step between a classic set of eyelash extensions and a volume set. They can also be a great way to achieve that staggered look made popular by Kim Kardashian, by using longer classic extensions interspersed with shorter volume lashes. They’re perfect for anyone wanting to add a bit of extra drama to their classic set, or for anyone wanting to test out volume lashes without fully committing. They are great for anyone with naturally fine or slightly gappy lashes, whereby volume fans can be placed in sparser areas to make the lash line look fuller.
